To make our services available to more of our Taos community we offer a sliding scale for clients in need of financial assistance. The low end of the sliding scale is the same as an insurance copayment ($30). Health insurance is not accepted.

Integrative Health (IH) Coaching

Integrative Health Coaching is a client-centered process that facilitates and empowers you to achieve your self determined goals.

Together, you and your coach:

  • Set long and short term goals
  • Create action plans
  • Monitor progress in attaining goals
  • Develop strategies to utilize your strengths most effectively

IH Coaches help their clients explore and come up with the best choices for them based on where they are and the client’s vision for their future. 

The goal is to support our clients to live a value-driven life regardless of the type of goals being addressed. Your IH Coach is your advocate. We want the best from you. We will work with you to help you reach your goals and to succeed. Your coach will hold you accountable and challenge you to grow

IH Coaching helps the client to explore and come up with the best choices by identify health risks through simple health screenings, clarifying priorities, and coming up with a plan of action aligned with the client’s values to help them live a more fulfilling life. Coaches have the added benefit of holding the client accountable to their plan of action by measuring the results.

Medical Massage

Medical Massage is outcome-based massage, primarily the application of a specific treatment targeted to the specific problem(s). Each massage begins with a “Visual Assessment Of Postural Patterns” and discussion about your current issues. Client is wearing loose comfortable clothing for all in office massage.

Shiatsu is an Japanese bodywork/massage therapy used to restore and enhance health. Pressure along the energy pathways moves stagnant Chi, the Vital Life Force energy, allowing the body to return to balance and harmony. 

Tuning fork therapy uses vibrating weighted tuning forks on acupuncture points. It works on the same premise as acupuncture – that stimulation of these particular areas unblocks stuck or stagnant energy, improving energy flow through the body and supporting the body in healing itself.

CranioSacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle, hands-on approach that releases tensions deep in the body to relieve pain and dysfunction and improve whole-body health and performance. It was pioneered and developed by Osteopathic Physician John E. Upledger.


Throughout history, trance states have been used by shamans and ancient peoples in rituals and religious ceremonies. Hypnosis as we know it today was first associated with the work of an Austrian physician named Franz Anton Mesmer in the 1700s.

During hypnosis, your body relaxes and your thoughts become more focused. Like other relaxation techniques, hypnosis lowers blood pressure and heart rate, and changes certain types of brain wave activity. In this relaxed state, you will feel at ease physically yet fully awake mentally and may be highly responsive to suggestion.

Personal Training and Private Yoga

Alana teaches multiple movement modalities that empower you with the knowledge and tools you need to reach your fitness goals including Pilates, Yoga, resistance training, circuit and interval training.

Yoga and Mindfulness

Yoga is an over 5000 year old practice to quiet the mind and invoke a state of peace. Over the last few decades a lot of medical research has gone into evidenced based stress management programs such as mindfulness-based stress reduction, progressive muscle relaxation, Emotional Freedom Technique as well as the impact of deep breathing. The results are overwhelmingly positive when it come to reduction of symptoms and better quality of life.

Alana works one on one with clients interested in learning a variety of meditation, mindful movement, and deep breathing techniques to support relaxation and balance. For those just beginning to practice Yoga postures (asanas) or those who need to discover a new asana practice, Alana specializes in adapting the postures for comfort and stability.

For those interested in studying Raja Yoga which is an ancient method of living a peaceful existence, Alana has a step by step approach to introducing students to the 8 Limbs of Patanjali. She also practices and teaches Nada Yoga which is the Yoga of sound, using instruments, voice and tuning forks to aid in meditation.

As founder of 365 Well Yoga Instructor School, Alana launched the RYT® 200 Hour Dhvani Yoga Teacher Training during the summer of 2017. In this unique 200 Hour Training, that is not only for teachers, we study from the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali and gain a well rounded overview of Yoga History. We also cover the most commonly used and safest basic asana/postures taught in Hatha Yoga classes, breathing practice and meditation. This training has a focus on Nada Yoga, using sound and music to aid in meditation.

Over the course of 12 weekends during six months, we are consistently developing and building on our understanding and practice of this system of Yoga. This program offers a well rounded knowledge base for the Yoga practitioners and instructors to develop a life long practice.

Aromatherapy – Essential Oils 

Essential oils are highly concentrated plant constituents obtained from medicinal herbs through steam distillation. Volatile liquids are distilled from aromatic plants generating nature’s most potent remedies. They are highly concentrated and more potent than dried or fresh herbs. Essential oils are considered to be the “life-blood” of the plant and they have several things in common with human blood. They are accepted by the body because of their compatibility with human proteins. Essential oil molecules, which carry the medicinal qualities of the plant, are so tiny they are able to penetrate human cells. When a therapeutic-grade essential oil is applied to the skin it reaches most cells throughout the body within minutes.

Essential oils have played a prominent role in everyday life in many cultures throughout history and they have been around since ancient Egypt. Historically some essential oils were considered more valuable than gold. The World Health Organization notes that from 119 plant derived pharmaceutical medicines, 74% are used today in “modern” or “allopathic” medicine in ways that correlate directly with their traditional uses as plant medicines by Native cultures.

Alana loves using Young Living therapeutic grade essential oils and shares her personal experience with the many safe home remedies that can be made using essential oils. She can support you in researching which oils are best for you as well as ordering oils. Alana is available to offer direction and suggestions for safe use of therapeutic grade essential oils to any of her clients.

Free 30 Minute BioMat Therapy Session 

Clients are welcome to schedule a free biomat session. The BioMat works by generating negative ions and sending far infrared rays through amethyst Crystals that are easily absorbable to the body. The client is able to deeply relax into the gentle warmth. The far-infrared heat warms fascia and muscles allowing for deeper, therapeutic massage work with less pain. The BioMat reduces stress and increases relaxation. It offers temporary relief of muscle pain, joint pain and stiffness by temporary increasing local circulation.
